The leader of the experiment was arrested and it got forgotten. Five hundred years later Joe’s tube opens and he finds out that humans have become much more stupid. He’s now the smartest man alive.<\/p>\n One of the fun visual jokes was on a clock tower with a digital display it was flashing “12:00.” The insane size of the Costco is also fun.<\/p>\n There are many funny moments. The movie’s brilliance lies in the way it takes the excesses of today to their logical conclusion.<\/p>\n There are a bunch of crude parts — which make sense to the story but are less interesting to watch.<\/p>\n The best behind-the-scenes fact is that the costume designer put everybody in Crocs, brand new at the time, thinking that there was no way they would become popular in real life.<\/p>\n Stars Luke Wilson, Maya Rudolph, and Dax Shepard.
