When they&#8217;re dead, a cutter can create an edited version of those memories and give it to someone else. Alan is known as the best cutter in town &#8212; he takes on projects that other cutters won&#8217;t, where there are disturbing aspects to the life. Some people think the whole thing is a bad idea, and there are protests.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a Robin Williams movie that you haven&#8217;t seen before, you could watch this one, which might have been a bit under the radar when it came out.<\/p>\n<p>It has an intriguing premise and a subdued but yet mesmerizing performance by Williams.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about what happens when you&#8217;re tormented by something from your past.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a nice revelation two thirds of the way through.<\/p>\n<p>The ending is a bit odd, as there&#8217;s a shift in perspective.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Jim Caviezel and Mira Sorvino. Directed by Omar Naim (the documentary <strong>Grand Theater: A Tale of Beirut<\/strong>).
