Crazy Heart<\/strong> was released in 2009.<\/p>\n The romantic pairing of Jeff Bridges and Maggie Gyllenhaal is a bit unexpected, but they make it work. They both give fabulous performances, as always.<\/p>\n Bad has done some not-so-great things in his life, but you will cheer for him. You don’t have to be a big fan of country music to enjoy this movie.<\/p>\n The music is country songs, of course.<\/p>\n Bridges (Arlington Road<\/strong><\/a>) plays Bad\u00a0— he did his own singing for the movie.\u00a0Gyllenhaal (Stranger Than Fiction<\/strong>) plays Jean. Colin Farrell (The Way Back<\/strong><\/a>) plays a younger country star who was helped by Bad.
