National Treasure: Edge of History<\/strong> season 1, aired in 2022-23<\/p>\n Montezuma’s gold was hidden and the three boxes holding clues have disappeared. Billie Pearce knows they exist, and is searching for them — she buys a house just because she knows that the previous owner had conquistador relics inside. The people who have the boxes don’t know what they have, including Jess, the daughter of a man who found one of them.<\/p>\n I like the characters, including the side ones, and much of the story. There are a few times when things become too unbelievable, though. For example, in episode 2 Jess solves a puzzle absurdly easily by just guessing.<\/p>\n This show successfully recreates the tone of the movies.<\/p>\n There is no season 2 coming. The story is wrapped up nicely, with just a hint of what would come if they had made another season.<\/p>\n Trevor Rabin reimagines his theme beautifully.<\/p>\n They found a fabulous person to play the villain, Catherine Zeta-Jones — who makes her villainy seem natural.<\/p>\n Harvey Keitel and Justin Bartha make welcome appearances as their characters from the movies.<\/p>\n Stars Lisette Olivera, Zuri Reed, and Jake Austin Walker.<\/p>\n
