Here are some of the dinosaurs shown:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Giant pteurosaurs, even though they could obviously fly, did their hunting on the ground<\/li>\n<li>Isisaurus will travel through treacherous lava-filled territory to get to a caldera where it&#8217;s safe to lay their eggs<\/li>\n<li>Devil toads are so big they can swallow a small dinosaur whole<\/li>\n<li>Tyrannosaurs have the largest eyes of any dinosaur, which gives them superb low-light vision &#8212; and they have soft pads on the bottom of their feet so they can walk silently through the forest<\/li>\n<li>Some elasmosaurs travel thousands of kilometres to the North Pole in the spring, where they eat mud from the bottom of the ocean &#8212; which contains lots of small animals<\/li>\n<li>Mosasaurs, the ultimate marine predator, could propel themselves from nothing to full speed by pushing off with their tail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See more predator\/prey action, and parents doing their best for their children.<\/p>\n<p>I previously reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2022\/06\/prehistoric-planet-season-1\/\">season 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{5\/5} &#8220;Journey to a time when nature put on its greatest show.&#8221; Prehistoric Planet season 2, aired in 2023 This season&#8217;s episodes are divided into habitats: islands, badlands, swamps, oceans, and North America.
