They want to search for survivors, and are sending down a team of navy seals to do it. Bud, the man in charge of the oil drillers, is dismayed to find that his estranged wife, Lindsey, is accompanying them. A hurricane is coming, and they want to get this mission done before then.<\/p>\n<p>The movie has a great look to it &#8212; the underwater scenes look like they were filmed underwater, because they were.<\/p>\n<p>I like how Bud throws his wedding ring in the toilet, but a few seconds later comes back and fishes it out.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about what happens when someone in your group has a different mission than you. It&#8217;s also about an international incident that starts because of a mistake. And it&#8217;s about first contact.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Michael Biehn. Directed by James Cameron (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2023\/03\/avatar-the-way-of-water\/\"><strong>Avatar: The Way of Water<\/strong><\/a>).
