Dead Again<\/strong>, released in 1991<\/p>\n

Mike Church finds missing people. He’s trying to help a woman who doesn’t talk, when a hypnotist helps her talk again. She doesn’t remember who she is, but under hypnosis she thought she was a pianist named Margaret in 1949 who married a composer named Roman. The hypnotist happens to know who Margaret and Roman are — Roman famously killed his wife Margaret.<\/p>\n

It might not wow you quite as much when you know what’s going to happen, but it’s still a great movie.<\/p>\n

Things are kicked up a notch in the second half. There’s some fine tension regarding who wants to kill who.<\/p>\n

It’s about what happens when you seem destined to relive events from a past life.<\/p>\n

Stars Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Andy Garcia, Robin Williams, and Wayne Knight. Directed by Kenneth Branagh (Murder on the Orient Express<\/strong><\/a>). The mysterious music is by Patrick Doyle.<\/p>\n
