Mariner, Boimler, and Tendi all get promoted to lieutenant jr. grade &#8212; but Rutherford has already refused promotion and didn&#8217;t tell them. When Tendi goes home to Orion for her sister&#8217;s wedding, she reluctantly lets Mariner and T&#8217;Lyn go with her.
