Leal was currently on the world of Aethyr, trying to make her way back to Virga. At one point her whole group was rescued from an avalanche by a local boy named Keir. He was actually about to run away, but now he takes them to his house, Complication Hall.<\/p>\n<p>This is the sequel to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2024\/01\/the-sunless-countries\/\"><strong>The Sunless Countries<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about trying to figure out which beings are on your side and which are not.<\/p>\n<p>The threads from the earlier books come together in this conclusion.
