Antaea Argyre, no longer with the home guard, returned to Sere to find Leal Maspeth, who’d written her a letter. Leal was currently on the world of Aethyr, trying to make her way back to Virga. At one point her whole group was rescued from an avalanche by a local boy named Keir. He was actually about to run away, but now he takes them to his house, Complication Hall.<\/p>\n

This is the sequel to The Sunless Countries<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s about trying to figure out which beings are on your side and which are not.<\/p>\n

The threads from the earlier books come together in this conclusion. Science fiction fans will want to read this series — with its unique setting, gripping story, and memorable characters.<\/p>\n
