Gattaca<\/strong>, released in 1997<\/p>\n

Vincent is on track to go into space — to Titan. But he does a lot of extra things every day that people don’t know about to ensure that happens. His DNA is genetically inferior, so he makes a deal to take DNA samples from a superior man. Jerome has top notch DNA, but he’s in a wheelchair. With the samples from Jerome, Vincent can pursue his dream.<\/p>\n

This movie is a masterpiece, with stylish visuals and a gripping story.<\/p>\n

It’s about people who think people with better DNA are better people, and people who resist that notion.<\/p>\n

I like how Vincent’s doctor informs him that he knows what the deal is by telling him a story about his son.<\/p>\n

Stars Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, Jude Law, and Alan Arkin. Directed by Andrew Niccol (In Time<\/strong><\/a>). The stunning music is by Michael Nyman.<\/p>\n
