Ben has also made it off the island, and he always has a plan. Meanwhile, back on the island something strange is happening &#8212; as usual. Daniel believes that either the island or the people on it are skipping through time. The remaining castaways find themselves encountering events we&#8217;ve seen or heard of before.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lost<\/strong> season 5 originally aired in 2009. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/lost-season-4\/\">Season 4<\/a>&#8216;s flashforwards are now the present.<\/p>\n<p>Season 5 focuses on most of your favourite characters. A few have disappeared, although I suppose it&#8217;s still possible we&#8217;ll see them again.<\/p>\n<p>When characters I like are on opposite sides of an issue, it&#8217;s hard to know who to cheer for. It&#8217;s particularly challenging to know what the right thing to do is when you&#8217;ve travelled through time.<\/p>\n<p>In the season finale we find out more about the mysterious Jacob. There can&#8217;t be many better cliffhangers than the one at the end of this season.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Davies (<strong>Saving Private Ryan<\/strong>) plays Daniel, Rebecca Mader (the TV show <strong>All My Children<\/strong>) plays Charlotte, and Ken Leung (<strong>Rush Hour<\/strong>) plays Miles. These are the people who came on the boat &#8212; although we now know that Daniel has been to the island before.<\/p>\n<p>Nestor Carbonell (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/the-dark-knight-rises\/\"><strong>The Dark Knight Rises<\/strong><\/a>) plays Richard, one of the Others who looks the same in the past and the present. Fran\u00e7ois Chau (<strong>Rescue Dawn<\/strong>) plays Dr. Pierre Chang, a Dharma Initiative scientist &#8212; he&#8217;s the one in the videos.
