The first thing he does in class is point out which students are wearing things that violate the grooming code. When Sheldon makes a new friend, Tam, they do some rocketry in the garage. Meemaw teaches Sheldon about bluffing. When Sheldon almost dies choking on a sausage, he&#8217;s not sure he will ever be able to eat solid food again.<\/p>\n<p>This is a spinoff of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2012\/05\/the-big-bang-theory-seasons-1-5\/\"><strong>The Big Bang Theory<\/strong><\/a>. Jim Parsons provides continuity with that show by acting as narrator.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hilarious.<\/p>\n<p>The best behind-the-scenes tidbit is that Zoe Perry, who plays Mary Cooper in this show, is the real-life daughter of Laurie Metcalf, who played Mary in<strong> The Big Bang Theory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>They found a startling brilliant young actor to play Sheldon &#8212; Iain Armitage.<\/p>\n<p>Guest stars include Bob Newhart, Jason Alexander, and Richard Kind.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Lance Barber, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, and Annie Potts.<\/p>\n<p>Created by Chuck Lorre (<strong>The Big Bang Theory<\/strong>) and Steven Molaro (writer on <strong>Merry Christmas, Drake &amp; Josh<\/strong>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{5\/5} &#8220;It was at that moment I decided I was not cut out for teaching.
