Her stepmother Delia informs her that her dad was eaten by a shark after surviving a plane crash. Lydia&#8217;s daughter Astrid is going to school and doesn&#8217;t really want to talk to her. They all go to Winter River to the big house on the hill for the funeral. Meanwhile, in the underworld, a woman whose body parts were all separate puts herself together and writes &#8220;Beetlejuice is mine!&#8221; on the wall.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the stars from the original reprise their roles, plus the director &#8212; keys to making this sequel-many-years-later work.<\/p>\n<p>It might not be as iconic as the first one but it&#8217;s funny and creepy. There were a couple of parts I thought were silly but on the whole I enjoyed it.<\/p>\n<p>Danny DeVito has an appropriately disturbing cameo.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci.
