The Electric State<\/strong>, released in 2025<\/p>\n

After the robots decided they didn’t want to just do what humans told them any more, robots and humans went to war. Humans eventually won, and robots were sent to an exclusion zone. Michelle’s parents and brother died when a deer hit their car, and she now lives in a foster home with a man who’s not particularly nice. When a robot comes to her house, she finds out that her brother is still alive.<\/p>\n

It’s an alternate history where robots were introduced into society much earlier. This gives it a different feel, which I was interested in.<\/p>\n

It’s about humans and robots working together.<\/p>\n

Based on a graphic novel by Simon St\u00e5lenhag (Tales from the Loop<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n
