ART&#8217;s humans were trying to convince the colonists that they should evacuate rather than allow themselves to be slaves to the corporation that was claiming the planet. While they&#8217;re talking to the colonists, they find out that there are some colonists at another site, and they don&#8217;t know exactly where it is. When some people volunteer to go search for the other colonists, Murderbot goes along &#8212; this is the sort of situation where it may be needed.<\/p>\n<p>This is the 7th and so far final book in the <strong>Murderbot<\/strong> series, following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2025\/04\/fugitive-telemetry\/\"><strong>Fugitive Telemetry<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about doing your job to protect people while having feelings that are difficult to deal with.<\/p>\n<p>This is the 7th book I&#8217;ve read by Wells.
