In 1941 Sergeant Whiteman finds a dead man in the same spot &#8212; but instead of investigating the murder, he&#8217;s been paid to move the body. In 1890 Detective Inspector Hillinghead finds a dead man in the same spot. In all cases the man has been shot but the bullet is gone even though there&#8217;s no exit wound.
