One victim had even been able to name her murderer, since she&#8217;s realized she&#8217;d been poisoned and managed to make it to the Library and update her memory-book in the last instants before her body&#8217;s death.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Murder by Memory<\/strong> by Olivia Waite, published in 2025<\/p>\n<p>Dorothy wakes up in a different body and the ship, Fairweather, informs her of two emergencies. Dorothy&#8217;s memory-book has been erased and a passenger is dead. Dorothy thinks the two are related and she becomes suspicious of the woman whose body she&#8217;s in. After checking out the body, she goes to see her nephew, who&#8217;s one of the people in charge of the ship.<\/p>\n<p>This is a novella.
