Radio Free Albemuth<\/strong>, released in 2010<\/p>\n Nick has been having unusual dreams where he believes a consciousness is speaking to him — it wants him to move to LA, so he does. He even has a name for it, VALIS. But his wife Rachel and his friend Phil, a science fiction writer, are skeptical. When Phil goes to LA for a visit Rachel says things are good but asks him not to bring up VALIS.<\/p>\n This movie isn’t really a successful one overall, but it does have some interesting ideas. The parts about the fascist government are good, while the parts about the aliens are a bit nonsensical.<\/p>\n Although it’s a strange movie, it’s semi-autobiographical — Dick had some strange things happen to him. Based on the novel by Philip K. Dick<\/a> (Minority Report<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n Stars Shea Whigham, Jonathan Scarfe, Katheryn Winnick, and Alanis Morissette.
