The Watchers<\/strong>, released in 2024<\/p>\n Mina’s mother died 15 years ago and she ran away to Ireland. She works in a pet store. The boss asks her to take a bird to a zoo, so she heads out on the road. When her car breaks down in the middle of a forest, she finds a sign and assumes that someone lives nearby. She starts walking, hoping to find some help. She finds a building where people hide from creatures during the night.<\/p>\n Dakota Fanning, always great, pulls you into the story along with the mysterious situation.<\/p>\n I was expecting a twist, given the director’s father, and there was one — it’s a good one. The filmmakers did a fine job of keeping the story interesting after giving us the unusual premise.<\/p>\n Stars Georgina Campbell, Olwen Fou\u00e9r\u00e9, and Oliver Finnegan.
