Star Trek: Strange New Worlds<\/strong> season 3, aired in 2025<\/p>\n Captain Pike tries to rescue crew members who have been beamed aboard a Gorn ship — meanwhile La’an and the others try to escape on their own. When Christine returns to the Enterprise after 3 months, Spock is stunned to find that she has a new boyfriend — Dr. Roger Korby. When La’an tests the new holodeck technology, she’s involved in a murder mystery where the characters are actors in a science fiction TV show.<\/p>\n The Gorn and zombie episodes were a bit more gruesome than they needed to be — other than that, it’s a wonderful season.<\/p>\n In “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail” James T. Kirk becomes acting captain of the Farragut when its captain is injured. In “Four-and-a-Half Vulcans” Pike, Uhura, La’an, and Chapel become Vulcan for a mission but then they decide it’s logical to stay that way. In “Terrarium” Ortegas goes through a wormhole, crashes on a moon, and ends up facing her greatest enemy — a Gorn.<\/p>\n The season finale was startling. It covered a lot of ground, but didn’t feel rushed. If it needed to be the series finale, it would have served well.<\/p>\n Guest stars include Rhys Darby and Patton Oswalt.
