The green-eyed synths now reside behind a fence. A company has produced a new kind of synths, orange eyed, that are supposedly safe. Humans and synths have at least one place to hang out together, but someone doesn&#8217;t like that and blows it up. Laurie and Joe are separated &#8212; Joe lives in a town with no synths.<\/p>\n<p>This is the last season.<\/p>\n<p>The show is a bit bleak at times, but it&#8217;s realistic.
