But that rock was near the wreck of the Nostromo, and it has something else on it that they haven&#8217;t noticed yet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Later a group of young miners discover a derelict ship near them. Their parents have all died because of the mining and they don&#8217;t want to be next. So they plan to go up and take the ship and fly it to their desired destination.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re making a sequel to a longstanding franchise and want to know how to craft a beginning, you might want to watch this one. The way it gives you something new while paying homage to the original is masterful.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s visually delightful. The visuals and story fit nicely in the <strong>Alien<\/strong> universe.<\/p>\n<p>The tension is built up beautifully.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not going to watch a movie this intense every day, but this one is top notch.<\/p>\n<p>They resurrected Ian Holm in a way that was well done visually and paid a nice tribute to him and his original character.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, and Isabela Merced. Directed by Fede Alvarez (<strong>Don&#8217;t Breathe<\/strong>).
