Kirk died on Veridian III, helping Jean-Luc Picard defeat Soran. Sometime later he finds himself in a place where he recognizes Saavik and a few others. Eventually he finds his dearest friend, Spock.<\/p>\n<p>This is an 8 minute film with no dialogue. It is essentially a tribute to the friendship of Kirk and Spock &#8212; as such, it is glorious.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you see it as spiritual or emotional, I think you&#8217;ll find it fitting.<\/p>\n<p>It is a collaboration between OTOY and the Roddenberry Archive.<\/p>\n<p>Although William Shatner is listed as the star, that&#8217;s a bit misleading &#8212; he didn&#8217;t actually portray Kirk on set, Sam Witwer did. Shatner did help the producers out behind the scenes. Witwer, along with some technology, will convince you that he&#8217;s Shatner&#8217;s version of Kirk.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Robin Curtis, Mah\u00e9 Thaissa, and Lawrence Selleck. Directed by Carlos Baena (the TV show <strong>WondLa<\/strong>).
