I regret the need for force&#8230; but the Lord helps those who help themselves.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Star Trek: A Small Matter of Faith<\/strong> by Martin Pasko, published in Nov. 1988<\/p>\n<p>Captain James T. Kirk responds to a distress call, but the people who made it are not in distress. Making use of ancient Lavinian technology, they manage to overpower the crew in the transporter room, and then make their way to the bridge. The ship is being held by some power and the aliens give Kirk an ultimatum &#8212; put the ship in their hands within 4 hours or be destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>The overall story is all right but there are too many details that don&#8217;t make sense, like Spock behaving illogically.<\/p>\n<p>The artwork by Gray Morrow is OK.<\/p>\n<p>This is the last issue of the 1st run of <strong>Star Trek<\/strong> DC Comics.
