Enola Holmes 3<\/strong>, released in 2026<\/p>\n

Enola is in Malta for her wedding to Tewksbury — in fact she’s on her way to the church — when Dr. Watson informs her that Sherlock has been kidnapped. Previously Sherlock wasn’t happy that she’s marrying into a family of lords and ladies — he wanted her to remain a Holmes. But Tewksbury must marry, and Enola loves him. So she will marry him — at least, she made a good attempt.<\/p>\n

This is the sequel to Enola Holmes 2<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s a fun adventure that fans of the series will want to see. The relationship between Enola and Tewksbury is delightful.<\/p>\n

It also has some serious things to say about the nature of empire and war — the story about the gold is invented but it could easily have happened.<\/p>\n

Stars Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and Hattie Morahan. Directed by Philip Barantini (Boiling Point<\/strong>). The music is by Aaron May and David Ridley, with a few of Daniel Pemberton’s themes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
