Penn & Teller: Fool Us<\/strong> originally aired in 2011. It consists of 9 episodes.<\/p>\n I’ve been aware of Penn & Teller for some time (they had a cameo in Babylon 5<\/strong>, for example) but hadn’t seen much of them until recently.<\/p>\n This is a British show, and is hosted by Jonathan Ross (Friday Night with Jonathan Ross<\/strong>). Sometimes Penn & Teller are fooled and sometimes they’re not. But the acts are always entertaining. When Penn talks to the magician about how the act was done, he typically does so in a way that doesn’t reveal the trick to the audience.<\/p>\n Penn & Teller are master magicians, and are also quite funny. As part of their act, Teller is silent — this is part of the comedy. They have been performing in Las Vegas 6 nights a week since 2001. They’ve also been involved in other TV shows — I’m likely to review at least one more.<\/p>\n You’ll find lots of close up magic on the show, such as card tricks and balls under cups. You’ll also find some amazing levitation, intriguing mentalists, and surprising escapes.
