Lara has been convicted of murdering her boss, whom she fought with just before the murder. Her husband John doesn’t believe she did it and he’s done everything he can to try to get her out — but he’s run out of options. Lara has already tried to commit suicide — she’s not going to last in prison. So John does the only thing he can — he plans to break her out.<\/p>\n
The Next Three Days<\/strong> was released in 2010. It’s a remake of the French movie Anything for Her<\/strong>.<\/p>\n It’s a pretty serious movie about a man who will do anything for his wife. John is smart and determined — will that be enough?<\/p>\n I was on the edge of my seat — I felt like anything could happen.<\/p>\n I liked how although the police were on the “other side,” they weren’t portrayed as bumbling fools.<\/p>\n I’m not sure why this movie didn’t make more of a splash when it came out — it’s brilliant.<\/p>\n The music is by Danny Elfman (Mission: Impossible<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n Russell Crowe (Man of Steel<\/strong><\/a>) plays John and Elizabeth Banks (People Like Us<\/strong><\/a>) plays Lara. Liam Neeson (Love Actually<\/strong><\/a>) plays a man who broke out of prison 7 times.<\/p>\n Brian Dennehy (Romeo + Juliet<\/strong>) plays John’s father, and does a lot with very few lines. Daniel Stern (Home Alone<\/strong>) plays John’s lawyer.
