For some, it&#8217;s family trade. Others are patriots, eager to serve. Next you have those who just need a job. Than there&#8217;s the kind who want the legal means of killing other people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A sniper kills five people, seemingly at random. They track him down from a fingerprint. In his interrogation, instead of writing a confession he writes &#8220;Get Jack Reacher.&#8221; Reacher served as an investigator in the military but has gone off the grid &#8212; they won&#8217;t be able to find him. But Reacher comes to them, after seeing a report on the news. He&#8217;ll get to the bottom of the story, no matter what.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Reacher<\/strong> was released in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a mystery where anything could happen. The first part is intriguing and the last part is action packed.<\/p>\n<p>Like in most of his movies Tom Cruise plays a tough guy with a sense of humour &#8212; but he does it very well.<\/p>\n<p>I liked it a lot. It is violent, but Reacher is a smart character and the story is different.<\/p>\n<p>The exciting music is by Joe Kraemer (the documentary <strong>An Unreasonable Man<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Tom Cruise (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/mission-impossible\/\"><strong>Mission: Impossible<\/strong><\/a>) plays Jack. Rosamund Pike (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2012\/05\/barneys-version\/\"><strong>Barney&#8217;s Verson<\/strong><\/a>) plays Helen, a lawyer, and Richard Jenkins (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/the-visitor\/\"><strong>The Visitor<\/strong><\/a>) plays Rodin, a district attorney and Helen&#8217;s dad.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Raymond-James (the TV show <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/once-upon-a-time-season-2\/\"><strong>Once Upon a Time<\/strong><\/a>) plays Lynsky and Werner Herzog (director of the documentary <strong>Grizzly Man<\/strong>) plays the Zec. Robert Duvall (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2012\/03\/get-low\/\"><strong>Get Low<\/strong><\/a>) plays Cash.<\/p>\n<p>The movie was directed by Christopher McQuarrie (<strong>The Way of the Gun<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>McQuarrie will be directing Cruise again in the upcoming fifth <strong>Mission: Impossible<\/strong> movie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{4.5\/5} &#8220;There are four types of people who join the military.
