The next moment the person&#8217;s gone, and it&#8217;s too late to do anything about it. And you always remember it because it was there and you let it go. And you think to yourself, &#8216;What if I had stopped, what if I had said something? What if, what if?&#8217; It may only happen a few times in your life&#8230; or once.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jack robs a bank with ease but then gets caught when his getaway car won&#8217;t start. When some inmates dig a tunnel to get out of jail he uses the situation to get out himself. Karen is a US marshal who is coincidentally at the jail when Jack escapes. He and his friend Buddy kidnap Karen. While Karen an Jack are in the truck of a car together, they have an interesting conversation. Later they both wonder what could have happened between them if circumstances were different.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Out of Sight<\/strong> was released in 1998.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to watch a serious movie about bank robbers, watch <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2014\/01\/the-town\/\"><strong>The Town<\/strong><\/a>. If you want to watch a fun movie about bank robbers, watch this one.<\/p>\n<p>If you missed this movie when it came out, like I did, now&#8217;s the time to watch it. It&#8217;s very funny.<\/p>\n<p>It has a similar tone to the <strong>Ocean&#8217;s Eleven<\/strong> movies, but with fewer characters.<\/p>\n<p>The playful music is by David Holmes (<strong>Ocean&#8217;s Eleven<\/strong>). The song at the beginning and end is &#8220;It&#8217;s Your Thing&#8221; by the Isley Brothers.<\/p>\n<p>George Clooney (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/10\/gravity\/\"><strong>Gravity<\/strong><\/a>) plays Jack and Jennifer Lopez (<strong>Selena<\/strong>) plays Karen.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Keener (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/a-late-quartet\/\"><strong>A Late Quartet<\/strong><\/a>) plays Jack&#8217;s ex-wife Adele and Ving Rhames (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/mission-impossible\/\"><strong>Mission: Impossible<\/strong><\/a>) plays Jack&#8217;s friend Buddy. Don Cheadle (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/iron-man-3\/\"><strong>Iron Man 3<\/strong><\/a>) plays a dangerous inmate, Dennis Farina (the TV show <strong>Law &amp; Order<\/strong>) plays Karen&#8217;s dad, and Steve Zahn (<strong>Reality Bites<\/strong>) plays a friend of Jack&#8217;s.
