All we can do is do our best to relish this remarkable ride.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When Tim turns 21, his father tells him something completely unbelievable: all the men in their family can travel back in time. It&#8217;s true, and it&#8217;s easy to do: go to a dark place, clench your fists, and think about the time you want to go to. Tim moves to London, and rooms with a playwright friend of his father&#8217;s. On a sort of blind date he meets Mary, whom he really likes. But when you travel back in time if you&#8217;re not careful you sometimes erase things you didn&#8217;t want to erase.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Time<\/strong> was released in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a beautiful movie about looking for love, and helping your friends and family.<\/p>\n<p>The two leads are incredibly likeable and you&#8217;ll definitely root for them.<\/p>\n<p>There aren&#8217;t quite as many laughs as in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/the-lego-movie\/\"><strong>The Lego Movie<\/strong><\/a> but there are many funny moments.<\/p>\n<p>The gentle music is by Nick Laird-Clowes (<strong>Battle for Haditha<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Tim is played by Domhnall Gleeson (<strong>Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows<\/strong>). Mary is played by Rachel McAdams (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/state-of-play\/\"><strong>State of Play<\/strong><\/a>) and Tim&#8217;s father is played by Bill Nighy (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/12\/the-best-exotic-marigold-hotel\/\"><strong>The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Richard E. Grant (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/gosford-park\/\"><strong>Gosford Park<\/strong><\/a>) and Richard Griffiths (<strong>The History Boys<\/strong>) have small cameos &#8212; this was Griffiths&#8217; last movie before he died.<\/p>\n<p>The movie was directed by Richard Curtis (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/love-actually\/\"><strong>Love Actually<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{5\/5} &#8220;We&#8217;re all traveling through time together, every day of our lives.
