In addition to making incredible movies, Pixar has uniformly great music.<\/p>\n<p>Scenes from the movies were shown above the orchestra. The orchestra was conducted by Evan Mitchell. I liked how he was able to make the orchestra laugh at the beginning of the concert. I also liked how he gracefully recovered from a technical glitch.<\/p>\n<p>The music was created by four composers. Here are the movies they scored:<\/p>\n<p>Randy Newman<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toy Story<\/li>\n<li>A Bug&#8217;s Life<\/li>\n<li>Toy Story 2<\/li>\n<li>Cars<\/li>\n<li>Monsters, Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Toy Story 3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thomas Newman<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finding Nemo<\/li>\n<li>WALL-E<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Michael Giacchino<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ratatouille<\/li>\n<li>Up<\/li>\n<li>The Incredibles<\/li>\n<li>Cars 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Patrick Doyle<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brave<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As an encore, they played &#8220;You&#8217;ve Got a Friend in Me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I especially like the music from <strong>Toy Story<\/strong>, <strong>Monsters, Inc.<\/strong>, <strong>Finding Nemo<\/strong>, <strong>Wall-E<\/strong>, <strong>Up<\/strong>, and <strong>The Incredibles<\/strong>. But even the music I&#8217;m slightly less familiar with was well worth listening to.<\/p>\n<p>I felt more a part of the music than I did the other day in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/guelph-symphony-orchestras-the-planets\/\">Guelph<\/a> &#8212; it seems like it must be better acoustics.
