It&#8217;s not an easy thing to do but unfortunately the best information is often in the hands of the worst people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Michael is finally back in the employ of the government. After being stuck in Miami for 4 years he gets to make trips to exotic places like Venezuela and Canada. The people who burned him have all been dealt with &#8212; although he does have some lingering questions. Meanwhile, there are still people who need his help. Jesse now has a day job in private security but he helps out when he can.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Burn Notice<\/strong> season 5 originally aired in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>As with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/burn-notice-season-4\/\">season 4<\/a>, the individual episodes remain gripping. The ongoing story is a bit wearying, with Michael being forced to do things he doesn&#8217;t want to do by yet another person. Of course, it would be risky to change the premise of the show.<\/p>\n<p>The season ends with a fairly surprising conclusion, that makes you immediately want to start watching season 6.<\/p>\n<p>Dylan Baker\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/spider-man-2\/\"><strong>Spider-Man 2<\/strong><\/a>) plays Michael&#8217;s boss, Raines.<\/p>\n<p>I also reviewed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/burn-notice-the-fall-of-sam-axe\/\"><strong>Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{4.5\/5} &#8220;As a spy, you get used to the idea that you sometimes have to ask your enemies for help.
