Even though it&#8217;s a silent movie, even though the acting is a very different style than we&#8217;re used to, even though it&#8217;s a message movie &#8212; it&#8217;s still amazing. In the the future the rich and poor live in different areas, but some people try to change things.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Runner up<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Passion of Joan of Arc<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>As a movie, it didn&#8217;t grab me nearly as much as <strong>Metropolis<\/strong>. But it&#8217;s interesting because it really happened. The movie is based on the actual transcript of Joan of Arc&#8217;s trial &#8212; from 1431.
