Like I&#8217;ll be at a stop light, and look over at the car next to me and there she&#8217;ll be, scowling at me with disapproval.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>White Bird in a Blizzard<\/strong>, released in 2014<\/p>\n<p>In 1988 Kat is a teenager when her mother disappears. Kat knows she was unhappy so she thinks she just decided to leave. But the police have a different theory. Kat regularly has strange dreams about her mother in which she&#8217;s calling out to her in a blizzard. A couple of years later when Kat is home from college she revisits the time of the disappearance and tries to find the truth. I didn&#8217;t find the ending quite as interesting as the beginning, but it was worth watching.
