Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey<\/strong> season 1, aired in 2014<\/p>\n Neil deGrasse Tyson, a terrific presenter, takes us on a tour of the cosmos. He explains things in a way that anyone can understand. If you’re looking for a fun way to learn some science, look no further. The conceit for the show is that Tyson has a spaceship which can take him anywhere or any time — the only part of the show that’s a tiny bit silly. It can be slow paced at times, but it’s worth watching — for great information on topics and scientists such as evolution, comets, black holes, Isaac Newton, Edmond Halley, and Albert Einstein.
