They can’t even spend more than a minute together without something happening like luggage falling out of an airplane going overhead. But Zak is determined to do whatever it takes to increase his frequency — and to help Marie lower hers, so that she has a chance to know what it’s like to have feelings. I believed in the reality of this world at the beginning, but as it went along that slipped away a bit — the actors couldn’t quite make me believe in the premise.
