La Muerte, ruler of the Land of the Remembered, and Xibalba, ruler of the Land of the Forgotten, have placed a wager on which man will win Maria’s heart. If Xibalba wins they will switch domains, and if La Muerte wins then Xibalba will stop interfering in human affairs.
