An ambassador is aboard to help broker a treaty &#8212; that ambassador is Kevin Riley. When Kirk is on Oyolo he&#8217;s surprised to run into someone from the past &#8212; Lenore Karidian. Now going under a different name, Lenore had attempted to kill Kirk 20 years ago. Is she much better now? This novel takes place after <strong>Star Trek V<\/strong>.
