Casey sneaks out at night to sabotage the dismantling equipment. After a brief visit to jail, she receives a pin that takes her to another place when she touches it. A place that looks like the future.<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed this movie immensely. As with <strong>Interstellar<\/strong>, I wanted to give the move 5\/5 but couldn&#8217;t quite do it. The acting, visuals, and music are thrilling. It&#8217;s also very funny. The first part of the story is terrific, but then there are some problems of motive and plausibility. I encourage you to see it &#8212; even if you spot the issues sooner than I did I think it&#8217;ll put a smile on your face.<\/p>\n<p>It seems like someone told them they needed to have good guys and bad guys shooting at each other to make an exciting movie &#8212; and that&#8217;s just not true, and didn&#8217;t really make sense in this movie.<\/p>\n<p>The stars of the movie are the young actors &#8212; Britt Robertson as Casey, Raffey Cassidy as Athena, and Thomas Robinson as Frank. It&#8217;s directed by Brad Bird (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2014\/12\/ratatouille\/\"><strong>Ratatouille<\/strong><\/a>).
