Dark Matter<\/strong> season 1, aired in 2015<\/p>\n Six passengers awake out of stasis on a ship that’s dead in space — four men, one woman, and a girl. They have no memories, so they give themselves numerical designations. They find an android, who’s able to connect with the ship — and discover that the ship is sending out a distress signal. When the five adults find out who they are and what their current mission is, they’re all shocked.<\/p>\n This show asks the intriguing question: Can you change who you are, and decide to be a different person?<\/p>\n It’s a bit like Firefly<\/strong> in tone. The ending of the first episode is stunning. My favourite character is the android, the source of much of the humour. Although it’s not quite a 5\/5 show the interesting storyline will make you keep coming back for more.<\/p>\n I like the episode in which they open the door to the mystery room and they find a woman in stasis and an entertainment android. This episode brought depth to the character of Three.<\/p>\n Stars Jodelle Ferland and Zoie Palmer.<\/p>\n David Hewlett and Torri Higginson both guest star as someone who hires them for a job.
