She initially decides to run the farm herself, that she doesn&#8217;t need a husband. When three different men propose to her &#8212; a farmer, a wealthy neighbour, and a soldier &#8212; she decides to take one of them up on their offer. But has she chosen wisely?<\/p>\n<p>This story, an old one, takes place in Victorian England &#8212; I hadn&#8217;t read or seen it before. Its tone is similar to <strong>Pride and Prejudice<\/strong>. It has comedy, drama, and romance.<\/p>\n<p>The coincidences were a bit too convenient \u2013 otherwise I liked it a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Carey Mulligan and Juno Temple.
