Pee-wee’s Big Adventure<\/strong>, released in 1985<\/p>\n

Pee-wee’s most prized possession is his bike. When it’s stolen, he’s heartbroken but determined to get it back. A fortune teller tells him that his bike is at the Alamo — although it’s not there, he has lots of adventures on the way.<\/p>\n

This movie is hilarious. The character of Pee-wee Herman is one of my favourite characters ever.<\/p>\n

I’d forgotten some awesome details, like Pee-wee’s scale model of the entire mall. One more quotation: “Yes, there are thousands and thousands of uses for corn, all of which I will tell you about right now.”<\/p>\n

Stars Paul Reubens. Directed by Tim Burton (Big Eyes<\/strong><\/a>). The playful music by Danny Elfman is magnificent.<\/p>\n
