Within a half-hour we were driving up into this really nice neighbourhood, and we were running down the stairs of some stranger&#8217;s back yard, and then we were swimming, and we were in love.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The One I Love<\/strong>, released in 2014<\/p>\n<p>Ethan and Sophie are seeing a therapist, who suggests they go away for the weekend to a particular spot that he knows about. When they get there it seems great at first. Then they realize that something very strange &#8212; seemingly magical &#8212; is going on in the guest house.<\/p>\n<p>There are only two actors on screen for most of the movie, so it&#8217;s up to them to pull this off &#8212; and they did. Mark Duplass and Elisabeth Moss are superb. Ted Danson has a small role as the therapist.<\/p>\n<p>The movie was filmed at Ten Danson and Mary Steenburgen&#8217;s home.<\/p>\n<p>As with <strong>Predestination<\/strong>, the filmmakers have the guts to tell the story they want to tell &#8212; and no Hollywood producer is interfering with them.
