He has an audacious plan to get millions of dollars out of NATO &#8212; steal two of their nuclear weapons and hold them for ransom. He steals the weapons, and James Bond goes to the Bahamas to retrieve them.<\/p>\n<p>Since James Bond had a jetpack in 1965, it seems like everyone should have one by now.<\/p>\n<p>There are several underwater scenes, which were probably novel at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Felix Leiter, Bond&#8217;s friend at the CIA, helps him out &#8212; I forgot how many times we see him, possibly partly because he&#8217;s always played by a different actor.<\/p>\n<p>Bond&#8217;s treatment of women is at times appalling.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the interesting visuals and music, the story didn&#8217;t grab me. It&#8217;s possible that the movies in this series follow too much of a formula to watch them all in a row.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Sean Connery and Claudine Auger. Directed by Terence Young (<strong>From Russia with Love<\/strong>). The music by John Barry is terrific.<\/p>\n<p>This is probably the 2nd time I&#8217;ve seen it.
