Canada’s Got Talent<\/strong> season 1, aired in 2012<\/p>\n The above quotation is from Martin Short — not from the show but from The Huffington Post<\/strong>.<\/p>\n I’ve watched a fair amount of America’s Got Talent<\/strong>. I typically watch the auditions, and then I’ll stop watching — I did the same thing with season 1 of Canada’s Got Talent<\/strong>. Once they whittle the group down to a selection of talented people, I’m not that interested in who wins and who loses.<\/p>\n I’m interested in the surprise of what happens when someone gets on that stage. The one thing I don’t like is when someone sticks things in parts of the their body where things are not supposed to be stuck. I put my hand in front of my eyes for that. But that’s only once in a while. I really like how a regular person can get up on the stage and show their immense talent — that’s the part I like.<\/p>\n
