He also worked as cinematographer on Godfrey Reggio&#8217;s <strong>Koyaanisqatsi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masterpiece\n<ul>\n<li>Baraka<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Great movie\n<ul>\n<li>Samsara<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Penny Marshall<\/h2>\n<p>Marshall is also known for her role as Laverne on <strong>Laverne &amp; Shirley<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masterpieces\n<ul>\n<li>Awakenings<\/li>\n<li>A League of Their Own<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Good movie\n<ul>\n<li>Big<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>George Miller<\/h2>\n<p>Miller is worth keeping an eye on because another <strong>Mad Max<\/strong> movie is forthcoming. He also co-wrote the screenplay for <strong>Babe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masterpiece\n<ul>\n<li>Mad Max: Fury Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Worth watching once or twice\n<ul>\n<li>Babe: Pig in the City<\/li>\n<li>Mad Max<\/li>\n<li>Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior<\/li>\n<li>Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sarah Polley<\/h2>\n<p>Polley is also worth keeping an eye on as an actor, from <strong>The Adventures of Baron Munchausen<\/strong> to <strong>The Secret Life of Words<\/strong>. I&#8217;m guessing she&#8217;s taking a break at the moment to raise her kids but hope that she will be back.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Great movies\n<ul>\n<li>Away From Her<\/li>\n<li>Take This Waltz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sally Potter<\/h2>\n<p>Potter has made interesting movies with Elle Fanning and Tilda Swinton.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Great movie\n<ul>\n<li>Ginger &amp; Rosa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Good movie\n<ul>\n<li>Orlando<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Godfrey Reggio<\/h2>\n<p>Like Ron Fricke&#8217;s movies, Reggio&#8217;s are typically classified as documentaries. But they are different than anything else you&#8217;ve seen. He released a movie a couple of years ago that I haven&#8217;t seen yet &#8212; <strong>Visitors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masterpieces\n<ul>\n<li>Koyaanisqatsi<\/li>\n<li>Powaqqatsi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Good movie\n<ul>\n<li>Naqoyqatsi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>David O. Russell<\/h2>\n<p>Russell has directed 2 brilliant movies starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masterpiece\n<ul>\n<li>American Hustle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Great movie\n<ul>\n<li>Silver Linings Playbook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Martin Scorsese<\/h2>\n<p>Although Scorsese is known for his gangster movies which I&#8217;m not interested in, he has directed some other brilliant movies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masterpieces\n<ul>\n<li>The Aviator<\/li>\n<li>Kundun<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Great movies\n<ul>\n<li>Hugo<\/li>\n<li>The Last Temptation of Christ<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Well made but not my style\n<ul>\n<li>The Departed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Mediocre but has its moments\n<ul>\n<li>The King of Comedy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Lynne Shelton<\/h2>\n<p>Shelton has directed superb movies with&nbsp;Keira Knightley and Emily Blunt. She&#8217;s also directed some TV episodes including <strong>New Girl<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Great movies\n<ul>\n<li>Laggies<\/li>\n<li>Your Sister&#8217;s Sister<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This list continues from part 6.
