Star Wars: The Force Awakens<\/strong>, released in 2015<\/p>\n Rey is a scavenger eking out a living on Jakku. Finn is a stormtrooper in the First Order, who lands on Jakku with his unit but then decides to defect. BB-8 is a droid who has a map to Luke Skywalker, who disappeared some time ago. When these three run into Han Solo and Chewbacca, they’re in for an adventure.<\/p>\n The story takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n It’s funny, and visually stunning. The characters, both new and old, feel real.<\/p>\n If you’re expecting the movie to be about your favourite characters from the original trilogy, you might be a bit disappointed. But if you allow for the possibility that new characters might be interesting too, you’ll be rewarded.<\/p>\n I enjoyed it a lot. The only problem I had was that some aspects were a bit too reminiscent of other movies in the series.<\/p>\n Stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. Directed by J.J. Abrams (Star Trek Into Darkness<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n The music by John Williams is great — I particularly like “Rey’s Theme.” On the other hand, the soundtrack is slightly less thrilling than previous installments.<\/p>\n
