The Family Man<\/strong>, released in 2000<\/p>\n Jack is a rich businessman who’s in the middle of a big deal and doesn’t mind working on Christmas. He runs into a man who turns out to have some kind of magical power. The next day Jack wakes up in a different reality — in which the last 13 years were different, and he got married and had kids. All he wants is for things to go back to the way they were.<\/p>\n I’m less enamored of Nicolas Cage’s acting style than I used to be. Nevertheless, this is a brilliant movie.<\/p>\n It’s about thinking about life in a new way. It’s also hilarious.<\/p>\n Stars T\u00e9a Leoni and Don Cheadle.
