The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August<\/strong> by Claire North, published in 2014<\/p>\n When Harry dies he finds himself back where he started — being born in the same time and place. But this time he remembers his previous life — and all the others. He gets to live his life again, but he can live it differently. He discovers that there are others like him — the Cronus Club. When Harry and the other members of the club find out that the world is ending they have to decide what — if anything — to do about it.<\/p>\n Read this book when you have a bit of time — you won’t be able to put it down. It grabs you right from the opening pages.<\/p>\n The historical sweep and intrigue remind me a tiny bit of Anne Rice’s novels.<\/p>\n I love the word “kalachakra,” used to describe a person who lives their life over and over.<\/p>\n The only flaw is that the purpose of the quantum mirror wasn’t really explained.<\/p>\n The novel has the same basic premise as Replay<\/strong> by Ken Grimwood but all the details are different.
