His patron is demanding a comedy, and soon. He has a title &#8212; &#8220;Romeo and Ethel the Pirate&#8217;s Daughter&#8221; &#8212; and that&#8217;s it. Meanwhile, Viola wants to be an actor so much she will pretend to be a man. When Will and Viola meet, sparks fly &#8212; and a play takes shape.<\/p>\n<p>Every second of this movie is delightful. Like <strong>Amadeus<\/strong>, it&#8217;s an amazing fictional story about a real historical person.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a terrific love story, and you also get to see how plays were written and performed in the old days. And it&#8217;s hilarious.<\/p>\n<p>Like many of Shakespeare&#8217;s plays there&#8217;s some deception and mistaken identity.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about how a great play can affect anyone who sees it.<\/p>\n<p>Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes are perfect.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Geoffrey Rush, Tom Wilkinson, Ben Affleck, Colin Firth, and Judi Dench. Directed by John Madden (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2015\/04\/the-second-best-exotic-marigold-hotel\/\"><strong>The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel<\/strong><\/a>).
